This text is developed and written for an intermediate/advanced course in Operations Management or Manufacturing Planning and Control. This course will be found in the better undergraduate programs in the MBA curriculum as an elective, or in Industrial or manufacturing engineering departments. The text will compete indirectly with MRP based books such as Vollmann et al, Fogarty/Hoffman, or McLeavey/Narasimhan in most cases because of the business emphasis, but may also appeal.
